I love painting; I have a darling fantasy of living in my studio, painting until I'm a Fridaesque old lady, surrounded by monkeys, dogs, plants, and large paper mache skeletons. I'm fortunate - I get to spend lots of time painting and will tell you that it makes me blissfully happy. There's nothing better than doing the very thing your childhood self imagined you doing. What's always surprising to me is that this life is even better than I imagined.
